This industry requires 5 million tons of raw materials for manufacturing feed.
Consumption of about 16.2 kg poultry meat and 9.3 kg of table eggs per capita when added to the production of 1.3 million tons of broiler meat and 685000 tons of table eggs annually, indicate that this industry has had a unique rate of growth throughout its short lifetime.
All above mentioned, has led Iran to rank 12 and 14 in the global charts of poultry meat and table eggs production respectively. These two mentioned products are approximately worth more than 2.5 billion dollars in the world market. |
